What do you enjoy most about your course at NTU?
“The best part about my course is that it is structured with practical learning and development. The modules focus on a learning experience that reflects on current issues in the real estate industry. For instance, the course conducted field trips to London and an international trip to Germany too!”
What made you choose to study your postgraduate degree at NTU?
“I was determined to obtain a postgraduate qualification from a different discipline to be more multifaceted. NTU gave me the opportunity to do so.”
What do you think about the course staff?
“The teaching staff have been responsible for creating an independent learning environment at University level. This enabled me to cope with challenges on my research project and studies. The support staff have been crucial in ensuring the course runs smoothly, with minimal hiccups.”
As an international student, what do you like about studying and living in Nottingham?
“Nottingham provides a great balance between serenity and bustle. The city maintains a calming environment conducive for studies, while offering leisure activities to break out of my monotonous routine.”
Can you tell us about your Masters project?
“My project centres around the sustainable development of green office buildings. Initially, I had a vague idea on environmental conservation. Throughout the course, I dealt with various issues within the property and built environment industry. This prompted me to incorporate my interest in environmental issues into my project.”

“The cross-over of skills and knowledge that supplement an undergraduate qualification is a value-added quality that gives me a competitive advantage.”
How did you find out about the international postgraduate scholarship, and how did you feel when you won it?
“I found out about the scholarship at a postgraduate fair. I feel excited and proud to have won it. I am also thankful to NTU for acknowledging and recognising my potential.”
As well as a fee reduction, what other opportunities have you taken up as part of the scholarship scheme?
“I have used the scholarship award as leverage for my employment prospects since it demonstrates my aptitude.”
