What is Sports Therapy MSc?
Get the skills to work with elite and amateur athletes. This highly practical course will equip you with a unique set of skills within the field of sport and exercise science to prepare you for a rewarding career in an exciting profession.

The course prepares students to enter the profession of sports therapy, and graduates become accredited Graduate Sports Therapists. The course delivers competencies to prepare your entry into the profession, such as the prevention examination, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of individuals. The teaching team have extensive experience working clinically across multiple sectors, such as youth through professional and elite sport, industrial, and performing arts.

You will be introduced to postgraduate study and learn to combine theory, hands-on experience, critical reflection, and research evidence to make clinical decisions. You will learn in bespoke sport science and sports therapy teaching suites that facilitate your clinical skills.

Study Style

Throughout the course you will be introduced to content through interactive lectures, seminars, practical sessions, virtual learning environment interaction, and independent study. The course is structured around skills-based, evidence-based, and problem-based learning to aid in the develop of students critical thinking and clinical techniques.
