The world is changing at a fast rate, and so are our buildings. Advances in digital tools for building performance analysis, and technological advances like the Internet of Things, provide unparalleled data and insights on how our buildings are designed and operated. As such we developed a programme that takes a forward-looking view on the impact of this digital transformation to the established discipline of Building Services Engineering, towards sustainable building design and operation
On this Master’s programme you’ll explore how digital engineering can lead to smarter buildings that are better for their occupants and the environment.
You’ll learn:
A second-class or higher UK Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. engineering or physics), or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard is required. These requirements may be relaxed for students who can demonstrate considerable and relevant aptitude and work experience; these candidates will be assessed on an individual basis. Please clearly state in your personal statement how your educational or employment background (including an internships or projects) relates to the programme and what you aim to achieve through your studies.
