The 4 module PgC programme and the 8 module PgD programme choose from the same module suite as the Master’s courses in Rural Estate and Land Management. The shorter, non-RICS accredited options are typically taken by:
A good honours degree (normally 2:1 or equivalent) in any subject. This requirement may be relaxed in respect of cognate degrees or for candidates with extensive, relevant professional experience. In addition, all candidates will be expected to provide references, and may be considered by interview and/or evidence of their relevant experience and motivation for the course.

The aims of the course are to provide students with specialised training in rural land and estate management. Specifically, the courses will prepare students for a career as in rural land and property management and offer professional and technical training to that end. Both academic studies and the vocational nature of the course in preparing students for a particular profession are enhanced by the close links of Harper Adams and the land management course team with industry.
