Course Description

This accelerated two-year course follows evidenced-based practice principles, with an emphasis on your active learning, engagement, and practical application of skills and knowledge in the context of real-life situations. Through this balance of theory and practice experience, you will graduate a capable and confident physiotherapist.

Entry Requirements

Home/EU: An upper-second-class (2:1) degree in a related field is required. Related fields include health, medical, sports and biomedical sciences. Science-based degrees such as biology, biochemistry, chemistry and physiology will be considered. Other degrees may be considered on an individual basis. In addition to the above, candidates are required to have gained practical experience relating to Physiotherapy, such as shadowing, work placements or healthcare work experience.

Applicants with a second-class degree in a relevant field or those with first or upper-second class degrees in a non-specified field, but who demonstrate extensive health-related industry experience, may be referred to the programme leader for consideration. Interviews will be offered to applicants who fulfil the entry requirements and demonstrate an understanding of the profession, an empathetic nature and a commitment to studying this professional course.
