About this course

The behaviour of public and private sector organisations is significantly influenced by international economic developments in the financial and goods markets. As a result, there is a demand in the market for individuals with a comprehensive understanding of:

  • economic and financial theory
  • policy dimensions within an open economy context.

Entry Requirements

A 2:1 honours degree, or an international equivalent. You also need to show a firm grasp of:
•basic calculus
•probability theory
•statistical inference.

International Students: To study this course you need to meet our Band 6 English Language requirements:
Direct Entry: IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.0 in all sub-skills)
If you have lower English Language scores, you may be accepted onto a pre-sessional English course.
