Course Description

This course will prepare you for the workforce of today and the future. Navigate diverse and complex business environments. Show awareness of institutions and organisations. You'll be able to manage people in any organisation, regardless of its size or characteristics.

Global human resource management enables organisations and professionals to:

  • manage diverse workforces across national and geographic boundaries
  • recognise local and global socio-economic interdependence and interconnectedness

The course gives you a heightened awareness of:

  • different institutional environments
  • diversity and cultural sensitivities
  • ethical and moral imperatives

It provides you with a firm foundation in areas such as:

  • knowledge
  • conceptual understanding
  • analytical ability
  • practical human resource management skills

You'll be able to pursue a career in this specialist field.

Once enrolled, you'll join the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. You'll develop into a socially adept and ethical graduate. You will be able to move globally in your career.

Entry Requirements

A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in any subject.

If you do not have a degree we will take your work experience into consideration. You need to have at least two years’ of continuous work experience in a relevant field. You will also need to attend an interview (telephone or Skype) and provide a written submission.
