This master programme focuses on tourism and its relationships with different concepts and expressions of culture. The course will prepare you for leadership roles in the diverse sectors which constitute international cultural tourism. It is designed to meet the sector’s needs for critical and reflective practitioners who possess an understanding of how theoretical ideas may be applied to professional contexts.
Traditional Route:
Honours degree, usually in the Social Sciences or Humanities. A Postgraduate Diploma or a professional qualification recognised as being equivalent to an honours degree is acceptable.
Non-Traditional Route:
Demonstrate the claim for prior non-certificated learning in terms of knowledge and competencies which the student has acquired from prior experiences. Support the claim by both direct and indirect evidence.
The Master is delivered and assessed in English and it will require an evidence of competency in English, with a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or better.
