The Postgraduate Research Lounge is a dedicated space for research students (undertaking a PhD programme). It’s a place you can call your own, where you can socialise, work, and help each other grow intellectually by having inter-disciplinary conversations.

The PGR lounge supports collaborative work, sharing ideas, exploring other disciplines, socialising and engaging with extracurricular activities.

Brad-ATTAIN Initiative

At Bradford, we recognise the importance of having diverse perspectives and belonging to a diverse research community. Our Brad-ATTAIN initiative aims to increase diversity and inclusion among our PGR community with two fully funded PhD scholarships for UK candidates who self-identify as being from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background.

We are committed to addressing systemic inequality and disadvantages experienced by Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic staff and students.

Held annually, the Brad-ATTAIN Research Summer School intends to inform, encourage, and inspire you about the world of research. It offers a comprehensive programme which allows you to find out more about the University of Bradford, being a researcher, and what it means to do a PhD.
