Our new MSc Translating programme, formerly MSc Translation and Computer-Assisted Translation Tools, is designed for those who want to work as professional translators or in the field of translating.
The programme has its main focus on translation and translation technologies, but with fewer mandatory courses and a much broader range of optional courses in professionally relevant subjects you can tailor your programme to your interests and professional needs.
Strand A
1. Native / near-native command of English plus native / near-native command of French, German, or Spanish
2. Good degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
Strand B
1. Native / near-native command of English plus an excellent command of two from French, German, Spanish, Arabic or Chinese.
2. Good degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
Suitable applicants will be invited for interview and to undertake a short test.
