Standard Entry
Applicants should normally have:
A minimum of a 2.2 honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area, and GCSEs at Grade 4 (Grade C) or above in English Language and Mathematics.
Additional requirements:
Applicants will be required to attend an interview. Admission is subject to a suitable DBS Enhanced Certificate and a satisfactory health check. Applicants must meet the Health and Care Professions Council’s suitability for registration requirements.
Please note that due to ongoing developments in Government’s guidance about Covid-19, it is possible that you will be required to have had both doses of a Covid-19 vaccine (including any boosters due), unless you are medically exempt. This is to protect you, your families, and anyone you may be caring for if your programme requires this, and it will also enable you to take part in learning placements in the health and social care sector. Government guidance continues to evolve but we need to ensure your safety and enable you to commence and complete this programme by being able to undertake your placement.
