Our Project Management course is an industry-led, distance learning programme that uses a Practice Based Learning approach to project management development.
It aims to: provide complex education in the management of projects including preparing you to take on a more senior role; teach you functional project management topics; update individual’s and organisation’s competence; support your professional career development; and help develop essential behavioural skills such as communication and problem-solving.
Project Management is the application of processes, knowledge, skills and your own experience to achieve objectives of a project. Whereas management is an on-going process, project management has a final deliverable (based on objectives) and a set time-span.
This programme aligns with APM Competency Level 4 – Proficient.
For direct entry onto the MSc, applicants must hold an Upper Second Class Degree or international equivalent, in a relevant subject. However, the programme offers a ‘ladder of opportunity’ system, whereby candidates with no first degree but with an additional relevant qualification or professional experience, may be offered a Certificate or Diploma level registration to begin with.
