Lasting just eight weeks, short courses in Design for Learning Environments allow you to specialise in a particular area of instructional design, completing with a micro-credential certificate worth 10 master’s credits.

Curriculum
The Online PGCert Design for Learning Environments is a 60-credit, 12-month programme of study. As a student in the programme, you will study six 10-credit modules over the year, with each module lasting 8 weeks.
You have a maximum of 5 years to finish your online programme and under certain circumstances, you can break up your studies and take time out between modules if you need to. Please discuss this with a recruitment coordinator

To be eligible to apply for the Online PGCert Design for Learning Environments, you will need to have obtained:
• An upper second-class degree or postgraduate diploma from a UK university OR an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution OR a lower second-class degree with 2 years of work experience (in design, computing, or education) OR no degree with 5+ years’ work experience.
• A reference (this is dependant on your entry mode and may not be required)
• A statement of purpose (this is dependant on your entry mode and may not be required)
For international students, standard English language requirements apply. You must have an IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band.
