Course Description

Our MSc Mathematics with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a follow-on qualification from our PGCE Mathematics programme. Following the successful completion of a Research into Teaching and Learning module and a school-based research project, you will be qualified to master’s level which, in addition to your PGCE, will position you strongly in the broad field of maths teaching.

The structure of the MSc programme has been uniquely designed to allow you to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and then progress to complete the master’s degree on a part-time basis during your early years of teaching.
