Course Description

The MSc in International Festivals and Tourism Management programme has been designed to provide a vocational, personal and intellectually challenging education for those wishing to enhance their knowledge and skills in festival and tourism management within a global market. This postgraduate course is ideal for existing managers and those with an appropriate undergraduate education who wish to aspire to a career in the dynamic and increasingly recognised area of international festivals and tourism management. Modern day tourism trends and analysis illustrate the competitive environment within which changing tourist attraction provision and expansion can be successfully delivered. 

Entry Requirements

Students require a good honours degree (or equivalent) in a subject related to tourism, business or service sector management. It would normally be expected that this degree be awarded at the level of lower second class or above. Other graduates who can demonstrate a commitment to the study of tourism management or who have significant industrial background will also be considered for entry.
