Course Description

The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) is a well-recognised postgraduate qualification for ambitious, motivated professionals who are seeking career advancement or consolidation. Studying an Executive MBA degree will support your career progression by developing your critical thinking and research skills and enhancing your business knowledge and understanding. The Executive MBA will help improve your management practice and will equip you with the essential leadership skills, confidence, and competence to achieve your organisation’s objectives.

As organisations grapple with continued complex change and disruption, employers are demanding more than ever that leaders are equipped to face these challenges with confidence and expertise. The Executive MBA programme at the University of Northampton is a contemporary and market-focused programme aimed at middle and senior managers across the commercial, public, and not-for-profit sectors. The programme will develop students’ strategic and critical thinking skills to manage complex, multidimensional issues in a dynamic and uncertain business environment. Strong analytical and decision-making skills will be fostered through engagement with a wide range of business concepts, tools, and technologies which are applied in organisational and industry contexts. Students will be encouraged to reflect on and develop their skills and competencies alongside deepening knowledge and expertise.

The programme is recognised and accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

This course is available via Distance Learning, and we have two programme starts in the year: January and September. This mode of delivery is supported by live online sessions, though the sessions will also be recorded.
