Addressing these issues requires effective legal and policy tools, internationally, nationally, and locally. The course will offer you a broad range of knowledge, covering the structures, principles, and institutions of environmental law, both at the domestic and the international levels.
You will develop the skills needed to pursue a career in this area of law and policy. Knowledge of environmental law is of increasing relevance for the commercial world.
This course gives you an understanding of the main legal issues related to environmental protection and sustainable development. The choice of modules and dissertation topics allow you to focus on the environmental and sustainability issues that are important to you.
You will have the opportunity to engage with our staff in small seminars and to discuss your ideas. They all have advised in their fields of expertise at high levels, practised, published and taught widely in a broad range of areas of law including:

An honours degree in Law at lower second class or above
Consideration will also be given to applicants with other academic backgrounds who explain clearly their motivation for undertaking the relevant LLM, outlining any relevant legal work experience
