An intensive two-year course with a School located in the heart of London, the MA Filmmaking trains to a professional level in a full range of filmmaking skills. Students leave with a portfolio of directing, cinematography, editing, producing, production design and sound credits. The school produces a huge output of films each year on this particular programme, many of which are screened at key festivals annually, previously winning many prizes, including at Locarno, Berlinale, Edinburgh, LaCinef (Cinéfondation).

We believe filmmaking talent shows itself in many different ways. We welcome applications from a variety of academic and relevant professional backgrounds, on the merit that candidates can meet and exceed our minimum entry requirements.
Previous study in Filmmaking is not compulsory and you are welcome to apply even if you haven’t trained in, or made films before. We are interested in creative individuals who have a natural talent and passion for Film and story telling.
