Our campus
The University of Strathclyde is located in the heart of Glasgow, where students can experience world-class architecture, a diverse culinary scene, vibrant nightlife and outstanding shopping with our world-famous ‘style mile’.

An economic and commercial hub, Glasgow offers excellent prospects for internships, placements and networking opportunities. Glasgow’s International Financial Services District is a major centre for international business, while the city is ranked as a top 10 UK digital tech city and prime destination for start-ups.

Glasgow is a compact and well-connected city, easily explorable by walking, cycling or wheeling. The campus is a short walk from two mainline railway stations, a major bus station and the Glasgow Subway.

We are investing in your future
Over the course of the current decade, we are transforming our campus by investing £1billion to create a first-class working and learning environment for you, our students.

Strathclyde students can enjoy our new £60 million Learning & Teaching building, which is located in the centre of campus. Designed with students and staff in mind, the hub includes leading-edge teaching facilities, student support services and a newly-refurbished Students’ Union.

Our new £31 million sports centre, Strathclyde Sport, brings state-of-the-art training, fitness and wellbeing facilities to the heart of the University’s campus.

Accommodation
Our self-catered campus village is just short walk away from the main University buildings and has a dedicated Accommodation Services team available 24/7.

Funding
We offer a range of scholarships for postgraduate study and SAAS provides funding for selected courses.

If you wish to be nominated by the University for any scholarship or funding, we recommend that you apply as early as possible.
