Scholarships and Funding

If you want to study at a university in the UK, a scholarship can be a big help. At Manchester Met, we are committed to recognising high-achieving students.

The University provides international postgraduate scholarships up to £3,500 for postgraduate study.

International scholarships are also offered for specific subjects, such as the Fulbright Scholarship for new US students enrolling on MA/MFA Creative Writing and provides funding for the full MA Creative Writing or the first year of the MFA Creative Writing.

My memorable experiences at the Manchester Writing School ranged from watching authors and professors animatedly discuss literature, to listening to vinyls while reading poetry at the Poetry Library. I found a lot of value in my discussions with other writers, both inside and outside the classroom, developing an understanding for the craft of writing through careful analysis.”
