Delivery
Programmes are designed to be studied wholly online and part-time. Teaching is delivered through our state-of-the-art Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), which provides students with access to all resources required for interactive study online. On this platform you will be encouraged to work collaboratively with classmates and actively read around your topic through our comprehensive library of eBooks and journals.
Accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), this conversion programme is designed to guide you in the construction of knowledge of the central features within the discipline of psychology, which will enable you to put principles into effect in a variety of settings including research, practice and the interface of applied research. The experience and skills developed will also be appreciated by employers in a wide range of professions outside of the field of psychology.
By successfully completing this programme, you will meet the requirements for Graduate Basis of Chartership with the British Psychological Society (GBC). This is the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist in the United Kingdom (UK).
The curriculum has been designed to provide you with the necessary knowledge to understand the theories and practises of therapeutic interventions, such as counselling and the effects they have on individuals. You will gain a deeper understanding of the mental health psychology methodologies by engaging in various data collection methods to ultimately prepare you to enter a professional setting.
MSc Organisational and Business Psychology
Throughout the programme, you will develop knowledge of vital principles and practices of Organisational and Business Psychology. The research-led curriculum has been designed to help you develop awareness of the ethical concerns and challenges within the global issues of psychology to effectively identify best practices within organisational environments.
You will gain skills and knowledge such as problem solving, manipulation of data and application of reasoned approach that will empower you to enhance modern day organisational effectiveness and support employee well-being.
