MSc / MRes Equine Performance, Health and Welfare
This suite of postgraduate equine courses has been designed to meet the growing demand for experts in the industry. You’ll explore recent advances in equine health and disease, sports horse nutrition, behaviour, equitation science, and genetics in the context of enhancing equine performance, health and welfare.
You’ll get hands-on experience with a range of specialist research equipment including Qualisys motion capture system, Dartfish Pro Suite, Flir thermal camera, infrared camera system, mobile eye tracking systems and Observer behavioural analysis software.
Our facilities are on your doorstep at our Equestrian Centre, complete with a research arena, floodlit outdoor riding arena, indoor school, horse walker, dedicated performance analysis room and more. At Brackenhurst Campus, you will be part of a genuine community that cares about you, as well as the animals we share our lives with.
