Description

Masters in Public Health at NTU

Our Public Health Masters degree has been designed in response to contemporary international debates about the changing nature and shifting boundaries of multidisciplinary public health.

By choosing to study Public Health at NTU, you will be inspired to act as an agent of change within multidisciplinary public health settings, along with a critical awareness of the philosophical, theoretical, and methodological issues that bear on the discipline. Through an understanding of the local, national, and international issues that affect the field, you will adopt an independent and reflective approach to your learning and future career.

You will engage with a wide and diverse range of topics, including sustainable development, social determinants of health, politics, ethics, leadership, policy, and epidemiology. As such, you will be well-equipped to progress into policy, practice, and research roles in the public, private, or voluntary arenas in the UK or internationally.

Taught on our Clifton Campus in our state-of-the-art Health and Allied Professions Centre, you’ll be learning in an environment surrounded by students in the allied health professions, such as nursing, paramedic science, and occupational therapy.
