The LLM International Business Law is specifically designed for graduates from diverse disciplines as well as legal professionals who already have some practical commercial and business experience and who want to enhance their knowledge and skills to assist them in advancing their career, whether that is a career change or assuming a more senior-level role in a business, organization, or commercial enterprise.

The programme offers an opportunity to gain an extensive understanding of the Common Law legal system, with specific focus on its commercial environment. Students will have a chance to tailor their learning journey by choosing two elective modules from Corporate Governance, Aspects of Banking, Intellectual Property Law, International Sale of Goods and International Financial Crime. To achieve your full LLM, are required to complete a dissertation project on a topic within the international business law.

Delivery

This programme is designed to be studied wholly online and part-time. Teaching is delivered through our state-of-the-art Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), which provides students with access to all resources required for interactive study online. On this platform you will be encouraged to work collaboratively with classmates and actively read around your topic through our comprehensive library of eBooks and journals.

Methods of assessment  

Assessment is exclusively through online assignments rather than examinations. You will be assessed through a range of activities, including written assignments, presentations, discussion forum participation and journal entries.

Full tuition fee – £16,868 (2024/2025 academic year)
