Course Description

Firms that innovate will outperform those that don’t. On this MSc, you’ll gain the skills to lead and manage innovation at operational and strategic levels. Focusing on new-product and service development in larger organisations, in both the private and public sectors, you’ll:

  • gain an understanding of the causes and consequences of scientific development, technological advances and innovation
  • develop an integrative approach that combines management of the market, and technological and organisational changes
  • learn to create value from innovation
  • analyse innovation management problems in a variety of economic and organisational contexts.

This course draws on expertise from leading innovation management experts from SPRU – Science Policy Research Unit, based in the University of Sussex Business School. You’ll benefit from our collaboration with the OECD, Sussex Innovation Centre, Wired Sussex and other innovative organisations. Entry Requirements

You should have a lower second-class (2.2) undergraduate honours degree or above.

Your qualification can be in any subject. You may also be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.
