Masters Degree Description

With dyslexia as a key focus, this part-time course will develop your knowledge of specific learning difficulties. Practitioners take a critical approach to theory and gain one-to-one teaching practice within an educational setting to advance their skills.

This course is for practitioners working in a range of settings, from Early Years to Higher Education. It is aimed at qualified teachers, teaching assistants and SENCOs as well as disability advisors and those in student support settings. The key focus is dyslexia although the curriculum will also touch upon disorders such as autism, ADHD and dyspraxia.

Entry Requirements

You will need at least a 2.2 honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or a relevant postgraduate or professional qualification and/or appropriate work experience
