Do you want the opportunity to focus on an area of psychological research that inspires you? Are you interested in building your academic skills to work in academia in the future?
The MRes in Psychology at Wrexham Glyndŵr University offers psychology graduates an exciting opportunity to develop their research skills, whilst studying a chosen area of interest. Supported by a research supervisor, students on this programme will be able to design and undertake a research project around a psychological topic that sparks their interest.
The programme is predominantly self-directed, giving students the opportunity to research their chosen area in depth. However, students will also undertake two taught modules over the academic year, attending weekly lectures, seminars, and workshops aimed to support their development as a researcher.
By choosing to be a student on this programme, you will be supported to grow and develop your identity as a researcher at Level 7. You will be able to develop expertise in an area of psychological enquiry and be encouraged to share your knowledge with the wider research and academic community.
Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in psychology, ideally with a minimum of a 2:1, though a 2:2 may also be considered.
