This British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited conversion programme is designed to provide you with a broad and critical awareness of psychological theory and practice. We have particular expertise in quantitative research methods, and our course would suit those from a Science background. Students can specialise in Cognitive Neuroscience or Clinical Psychology in their choice of optional courses and dissertation. In addition, graduates from the MSc will gain a range of generic intellectual and practical skills, including initiative, self-reliance, critical ability, data science, collaboration, communicating research and presentation skills, which are easily adaptable to the needs of the labour market. Training in psychological research methods and project work will be included in the programme.
WHY THIS PROGRAMME
Entry requirements for postgraduate taught programmes are a 2:1 Honours degree or equivalent qualification (for example, GPA 3.0 or above) in a Science subject.

Graduates from this programme are eligible for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society. This Msc can function as a both a feeder for a PhD and as an industry focused qualification. Graduates have successfully progressed to vocational masters programmes in psychology or used this MSc to further their career in the wider job market.
