The MSc Professional Practice programme, adopts a distance learning delivery approach, that allows for engagement with learning worldwide. The programme has a focus on the development of expertise and applied learning within the work environment and the application of theoretical content. This will be achieved through a longitudinal professional engagement project in the field of sport governance leadership, via the students own work context and challenges.

The professional practice programme (and sport governance leadership pathway) prepares students for a range of employability and career progression options including roles in (Central and local) government departments; National and international sport governing bodies; Higher education institutions; Professional sports organisations and teams; Commercial sports companies; Not for profit (and trust) ventures and Doctoral research projects.
