Course Description

With its expert team of healthcare lecturers and excellent partnership working arrangements with local practice partners, the University of Wolverhampton ensures that you have access to a range of learning opportunities for developing your clinical speciality practice. Service users and carers contribute to all aspects of the curriculum, including production of teaching sessions and assessment, preparing you for professional practice with a reflective approach to workplace experiences, prior learning and ongoing work based learning, using where appropriate the University’s state-of-the-art lab facilities on Walsall and Wolverhampton campus. These activities will all serve to improve your skills, both transferable qualities to all forms of employment and key skills for professional healthcare practitioners.

Entry Requirements

  • An existing undergraduate degree or postgraduate certificate (or above), or alternatively certificated evidence of recent study at Level 6 or above (within the last 3 years) related to the field of healthcare to ensure ability to study at Masters level.

If you are undertaking the V300 Prescribing options

  • You must be a Healthcare registrant, currently registered with the NMC or HCPC.
  • For the V300 prescribing modules at least 1 year post registration clinical experience will be required. You will also be required to meet the specific professional entry requirements for the V300 prescribing modules as laid down by the NMC/ HCPC.
