Improved career potential
The IOSH salary survey (2016) indicates that the average salary for a Health and Safety professional with a master’s degree qualification is £50,000.
Many Graduates are now in Senior Management and Director Level positions. Other Graduates have gone on to undertake a PhD and to teach, either in Cardiff Met or other universities across the world.
IOSH membership
This programme has been accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Enrolled students can access IOSH Student Membership for the duration of their studies and, on successful completion, they will meet the academic requirements for Graduate (Grad IOSH) membership. Graduate membership is the gateway to Chartered status. As IOSH is the only organisation in the world that offers Chartered membership to health and safety practitioners, this can help you achieve the highest professional standards and gain international recognition.
