Course Description

This course is for radiographers who are currently working in a clinical environment offering mammography experience.

The modular choice of this course will enable you to follow a pathway within mammography that will lead to advancement in specialist clinical skills. The course is run in partnership with the Scottish Mammography Education Centre based at the West of Scotland Breast Screening Center in Glasgow.

Entry Requirements

A degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography or Therapeutic Radiography with HCPC Registration, or equivalent; Current employment in a clinical environment offering mammography experience.

You will also study one further 30 credit module from: Mammographic Image
Interpretation (30 credits) X-ray guided Interventional Breast Procedures (30 credits) or agreed optional education, management or health related module.
