Train to become a solicitor on this master’s-level LPC (Legal Practice Course). An LPC fulfils part of the vocational requirements to qualify as a solicitor, as set by the SRA.
This is the full LPC master’s course and forms part of the vocational stage of training required if you wish to qualify as a solicitor. The Solicitors Regulation Authority recognises this course as meeting its training requirements and covering the necessary legal topics.
As part of your course, you’ll:
Study interactive workshops based on realistic case studies that explore the challenge of professional practice
Learn from a team of academic staff who are qualified lawyers with significant professional experience
Have a choice of option modules that will enable you to tailor your qualification to your areas of interest
Complete an extended written dissertation on a subject of your choice, with support from your tutors, during your Independent Legal Research Project
Applicants should either have at least a second class honours Qualifying Law Degree or a Graduate Diploma in Law. Applicants are required to provide a letter from their awarding institution to confirm they hold a qualifying Law degree.

You’ll have the opportunity to be matched with a professional mentor from the legal profession who could provide support, guidance and work-based learning and career opportunities. Upon completion of this course, you’ll be able to proceed to the next stage of legal training as a solicitor by way of a training contract.
