The MA in International Political Economy course at Manchester reflects the research interests and strengths of our IPE specialists in the politics discipline area, and focuses on introducing students to a broad range of orthodox and critical theories, and to the politics of globalisation today, through two compulsory course units.
You can then take a range of optional units that examine specific issues relating to global governance, development and inequality, gender, environmental politics, global production and work, finance, capitalist diversity, ideology, economic crisis and the politics of resistance and revolt.
