Course Description

Accredited by the British Psychological Society, this course is designed to develop the skills, knowledge and attributes required for a career in forensic settings such as the police, prison and probation services, secure units, special hospitals, or the Home Office.

On this course students gain the academic knowledge and skills required as the initial training for a career in forensic psychology. As a student you will benefit from experienced teaching staff who individually support you towards your own professional aims as you study a range of forensic psychology topics.

Entry Requirements

  • you will need at least a 2.2 honours degree or equivalent in psychology
  • you should be eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered membership of the BPS
  • a strong academic reference
  • EU and international students need IELTS 6.5 overall (no less than 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in any other band) or equivalent
