MSc Environmental Monitoring, Research and Management

  • DeadlineStudy Details:

    MSc Full-time 1 year, Part-time 2 years

Course Description

Our master’s in environmental monitoring, research and management focuses on the practical skills required for successful and sustainable management through field, laboratory and analytical work.

The programme focuses on the dynamic nature of biological and physical environmental systems and teaches the practical and analytical techniques that science, government and industry increasingly need to assess and manage dynamic environmental systems. There is an emphasis on the practical challenge of measuring, analysing and evaluating dynamic environmental data for environmental problem solving and management purposes. It is formulated around our fundamental belief that environmental problem solving and management must be based on asking the right questions, collecting the correct data, analysing it in an appropriate way and evaluating it in an applied context.

Entry Requirements

An honours degree (good 2:2 or 55% or above) or equivalent international qualification in geography or other science/engineering discipline.
