Course Description

Grow your counselling experience and specialise as an effective counsellor for children and young people.

If you are a qualified counsellor with at least 2 years counselling experience, this course will allow you to work with children and young people in different therapeutic environments and in ethical and effective ways. We will train you in the theory, process and skills required by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Entry Requirements

The minimum entry requirements for this course are:

  • A 2:1 degree in a related subject or other recognised professional qualification
  • An initial counsellor training qualification for working with adults
  • Membership of a recognised professional body such as the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
