If you’re a dentist who has a special interest in clinical oral microbiology or want to become a clinical academic, this course is for you. The Professional Doctorate in Clinical Oral Microbiology provides you with an integrated three-year training programme, so you can gain high-level research expertise alongside your clinical training.

Two years full-time (or equivalent) post qualification clinical practice of dentistry is required, including evidence of specific relevant experience in either Oral Medicine, Dental Public Health or Oral Pathology.

Please note a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 is required at the point of submission in order for an application to be considered, but an IELTS score of 7.0 must be achieved before the course starts. Pre-sessional English course is available to improve the score by 0.5 if a conditional offer is given.
