Our Clinical Education PGDip is a two-year part-time course designed to develop your skills and understanding of the core concepts of Clinical Education. Rooted in workplace learning, we encourage you to make critical and creative connections between your own – and your students’ – practice and theoretical perspectives on teaching, learning and assessment.
At Leeds, you will receive research-led teaching, coaching and supervision provided by a highly experienced, interdisciplinary team from the Faculty of Medicine and Health and practitioners from NHS Trusts.
With us, you will:
debate and discuss the central themes and issues in clinical education
explore the differences between clinical and educational research
undertake introductory research training in educational research
design and conduct small-scale empirical research on a topic relevant to the clinical education workplace
A bachelor degree with a 2:2 (hons) in a related subject and professional registration and experience.
