Course Description

Study a cross-subject degree that applies psychology to real-world business problems within organisations. An organisation is only as good as the people working within it. Business psychology is crucial in understanding how teams work and what motivates employees. Many organisations hire business psychologists to solve challenges in psychology and business, from communication to talent recruitment.

Not only does applying psychology to the workplace produce better leaders and teams, it improves business decisions too. Business psychology is a growing market, addressing a business need for more effective workplace cultures.

Entry Requirements

You should have a good honours degree (2:2) or equivalent, in a relevant subject (e.g. Psychology, Business, Social Science or Science).

If you do not meet the above grade requirements but have at least 12 months relevant professional experience and/ or equivalent qualifications, we will consider you on an individual basis. We are looking for applicants who are committed to the practice of Business Psychology and are interested in interdisciplinary approaches to working in this field.

Student Destinations

MSc Business Psychology will equip you with the psychological theory needed to solve business challenges in a range of organisational settings from consultancies to public sector charities. You’ll develop a skillset that apply to your own workplace, including leadership, management and enterprise.

These skills will give you the best chance of career success as a business psychology practitioner. Plus, gaining accreditation from a professional body will ensure you meet recognised criteria for professional practice in the field.

Our graduates go on to work in many business areas, from human resource management to leadership development. You could also find work in teaching and academia, progressing to PhDs in business-related subjects.

This structure is for full-time students only. Part-time students study the same modules but the delivery pattern will be different.
