Postgraduate Spring Open Evening

Our postgraduate open days give you the opportunity to chat with our academics, hear about your funding options, ask current students about their experiences, and find out why we are ranked 1st in Scotland for postgraduate employability two years in a row (Graduate Outcomes Survey 2024) from our award-winning Careers Service. 

Our Spring Open Evening will take place 7 March, 16.30 – 19.00 at the Edinburgh Business School.

We will be running a series of activities over the course of our event. Light refreshments will also be available.  Please allow 15 minutes for registration before attending any of the sessions below:

Heriot-Watt Postgraduate Presentation

Presented by Jen Reynolds, Postgraduate Recruitment Officer: Find out more about studying a masters at Heriot-Watt including fees & funding, accommodation, student panel, student union, sports union, careers service, support services and more. This session will run for approximately 30 minutes and will repeat throughout the evening at 4.45pm, 5.30pm and 6.15pm.

Academic Chat Session/Department Tour

Take the time to chat with our academics for your chosen subject area.  Where appropriate there will also be a department tour.  Should your subject area include a department tour, we will be in touch with you to advise of timings.

Campus Tour

Tour our beautiful campus with the opportunity to also view accommodation. These tours will last approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and will run every 30 minutes throughout the event.  The first tour will depart at 4.30pm and the last tour will depart at 6.15pm.  All tours except the last one will include a tour of the accommodation.
